About Me.

My name is Jacy Thomas, I have been working in schools since 2009 and am parent to 3 neurospicy children. I love working supporting families to improve communication and relationships and helping parents to better understand the needs of their children either due to age, medical or mental health diagnoses.

I set up my company so that I can set priorities for a young persons support around attendance, mental health, behaviour or anything else that may be causing them difficulties.

I have a proven track record of positive outcomes for young people with Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). For the past three years I have supported a large mainstream secondary in Chelmsford and as a team have achieved 100% of their year 11's sitting 100% of their GCSE exams.

I have run parenting courses for parents of teenagers for over 10 years, including for parents of children that self-harm. I am also trained to run parenting courses for primary age children along with my colleagues who co-facilitate these with me. I have recently supported the development of a course for teenagers who are self-harming to attend.

I am training as an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner and am passionate in teaching this method to support people in recovery from trauma and learning how to self-regulate in stressful situations.

I am a passionate advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and have knowledge, experience and training in working with young people across the community, creating a safe space for them to be themselves.
